What a great hire for Iowa State. Proven winner, puts guys in NBA, plays upstyle, motivator. He's the full package, I could not be more excited!

I'm glad to see some are excited for this hire. I'm trying to like it... but I'm less than impressed. Would have rather had TJ than this.

Agree, of the known candidates, he was a clear #1 for me. All of them had question marks, but I think he'll be great with next years team and going forward.

Either way, we all need to be on bored and support him.

I'd think Monte would be happy, assuming Prohm has helped develop his guards into NBA guys, not like it can hurt Monte's game at all. What's next, a 10-1 t/o to assist ratio?

That's too good. I want to see more aggressiveness and wrecklessness out of him. I want a 2-1 assist/to ratio

Hallice Cooke and Nick Nosowiak should be pleased too. Both guys play a wide open style and like to have the green light to shoot at anytime.

Makes me feel a lot better. I still think TJ would be better because of his history with Iowa State lessens the blow of not getting a big name. I am not necessarily excited but I am starting to be ok with it. I do think he is the best of the candidates that weren't TJ or a big name though.
