Hey fellow GoT nerds :smile:,

Has anyone picked up this recent release from Martin with historic stories and pictures? If so, is it worth buying? I was interested to hear that it included some history of the Doom of Valyria, that I wouldn't mind reading through.

I'd like to. I've dropped some hints to my wife that it might be a good Xmas gift. Not sure if she's picking up on any of it, though.

I told me wife that I would like it and her response was, "Isn't that a like picture book?". I had to give her credit for knowing what it was, but knocked her for doubting it's coolness.
