How many times has he fouled out this year? I haven't watched Iowa much at all this season but I was just curious because just about every time he sets a screen he should be called for a foul! On one possession during the second half of the Indiana game...I counted three moving screens.
Really was just curious that's all

He fouled out against Maryland. That's the only time all year.

We know he's gotten away with 24 no calls to start every single game.

If he didn't get called on it his final game at Hilton there's no way any ref will ever whistle any player for fouling on the tip. If Woodbury played KU @Phog Allen the fabric of the universe would probably be destroyed when the tip happened.

I can't believe that play where he practically put a chokehold on the guy and they called the Indiana guy for a foul. It was actually kind of similar to what he does on the tip off.

I didn't hear the whole thing, but I thought Crean mentioned at half, "Gotta get through picks, they're moving, but..." or something to that effect? Crean is a doofus, but he's right. Iowa will run you off three or four picks every possession knowing they won't call every one. That's how Jok gets open.

I wish he was a freshman

I do too

I get the Woody hate over here but....the guy has been playing very well the last few weeks. Another double-double 13 pts 15 rebs. We'll miss him next year for sure....

Ever watch Niang on a pick? Moving picks are pretty much the norm in CBB...just sayin.

However, he also holds players on screens, holds players down at the tip-off, holds players down on rebounds, and throws cheap elbows. He's a dirty player.

Remember when Fran said he would stop cheating at the tip-off? Well, he didn't and I can only assume that Fran pretty much must have told him to keep doing it until they call it. Otherwise, he would have actually made him stop.

If it isn't called...why would he stop.

Niang doesn't get called for that shoulder he likes to nudge players with on screens...doesn't get called, why on earth would he stop?

All players test the waters on what they can or can't get away with...

You guys call the little things Niang gets away with "crafty".....Woody's "dirty"....I get it. It's all comes down to perspective.

A little nudge on a screen is different than purposefully putting a forearm into someone's neck. From what I've seen he does things like that often. Generally a really bad basketball player with no skill set that makes up for it by consistently knowingly doing things that could cause physical injury. His prideful strut after his actions only makes it worse.

He might be the only reason I can't enjoy Iowa's success because the rest of the team is pretty fun to watch.

Haters will hate this but Woody's size and the number of double-doubles (and a few assists too) he has had this year will get him a strong look from the NBA. I don't know if he can make the step but he will get a good look.

Woody had a nice box score but Iowa got home cook'n last night, not Indiana

the crap that doofus got away with last night was astounding

Wasn't it vitale and ESPN who featured his top- 7 pg's in country-- and no Monte Morris?

of course Yogi-- who was 2-12 fg last night with 2 to's and 1 assist--- in his grouping

what a dooosh

"Strong look" as in Summer League? That's the most he'll get if he's lucky. Can you imagine Woodbury trying to guard DeAndre Jordan?

Being 7 foot but only having a 6'9 wingspan doesn't really work for the NBA
