I'm looking for a recommendation on a wireless keyboard/mouse combo.

I currently have a Logitech K520 wireless keyboard/mouse combo, and I have two problems with it. The first is that the keyboard has really flat keys. I am used to typing on the cut-off-pyramid shaped keys with a deeper contour on top (old-school keys), and it is difficult for me to type well with the flatter keys. I use several computers, and the others all have the old-school keys (with wired keyboards).

Secondly, I have had the K520 keyboard for about 9 months, and several keys are starting to go dead...I have to smack them hard to get a response. This seems to be a known problem with this model.

A keyboard/mouse that can use a single unified receiver to plug into the PC would be nice as well.

Thanks for any help!

I used a Logitech K750. The keys don't seem overly flat to me, so maybe it's an improvement for you. It's solar powered, so you don't have to worry about batteries. I've been using it for a year or so, and have no complaints.

Not a Microsoft. My keyboard somehow just started mapping the wrong keys and I've tried for at least 4 hours trying to figure it out to no avail.

Get a wireless mechanical keyboard, with cherry mx switches (whatever type you prefer). It will give you a far better typing experience!

For people that type a lot, I can't recommend mechs enough. Life-changing. I hate my basic Dell work keyboard against my Logi G710 at home.

My biggest and really only issue with them... People tend not to like the excess noise, if your workstation isn't secluded.

There's like a billion and a half people in China, it's probably got way more Deep State members than even we do.

They already have a dictator and Communist Party. They just don't try to hide it.

Ok that's a new one on me. What is a mechanical keyboard? That is a strange term to use for an electronic instrument.

Logitech K800 here - really like it. Used for 9 months, only recently had to change the mouse batteries. Backlit keyboard is rechargeable, lasts 8 to 10 weeks or so. Both ergonomically comfortable and have responsive performance.

It does looks like the keys on the K750 has more contour than the K520, so that one could be an option.

I've been looking at the wireless mechs. Pricey, but it would probably be a good investment.

I think this one is just a mild upgrade to the K520 that I have. The keys looks a little better than the K520 though.

Get gaming grade peripherals and be amazed at the comfort and quality. I don't use wireless but there are good brands out there.
