Duh!
Jamie’s comment in the podcast, about ISU wins versus teams with winning records versus b10 wins versus the same, got me thinking more about some conferences not playing nonconference games this year. Look at some records without the padding of 4 nonconference games. I can’t believe this isn’t being talked about more. B12 took a beating for the three nonconference losses, but did any other P5 teams take that risk at the opener?

The ACC played 10 + 1.

The ironic thing is that Clemson played a winless FCS team (The Citadel), and Notre Dame played South Florida from the American who won only 1 game...You got it!....vs. The Citadel! lol.

Georgia Tech did play UCF, so the Ramblin' Wreck played a toughie.

Syracuse, Virginia Tech and N.C. State all played Liberty which turned out to be a toughie.

SEC played 10 SEC teams.

Big Xii played 9 + 1

B1G and Pac not so much.
