... in the history of ISU?

Facing #2 team in country on National TV.
Only game on besides Toledo v. Central Michigan.
No NBA
No NFL
No Baseball
BCS Trophy in town
Samantha Steele

I would have to think every sports bar in the country will have it on.

If not what game would it of been? ISU v OU Seneca Toga game?

The ISU/OU game was a regional ABC Broadcast, so this one would have it beat. I cant think of a game ISU has played where there has not been another game going on at the same time that was a better option to watch.

That's why people need to show up for the game. Hate to see a game on national TV without a great crowd on hand. That's why I am driving over. That plus I love watching games live.

looks like were extremely close to 50k. Cyclones.com shows us being at 49,763. We should get 247 more sold by friday no problem

Hopefully they all stay til the end of the game. How big a recruiting tool over TT would that be if the fans are still there even in a blowout.

Hmmm. not sure if I'd chose to think about it quite like that, but I like the enthusiasm!

Yeah not sure that came across exactly how I wanted. But I think you got the point.

Win>>infinity>> (blowout loss with fans still there) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> (blowout loss with fans exiting by the droves.)

In the worse case scenario it is a chance for the fans to separate ourselves from every other fan base instead of just saying how great we are. I have no delusions that it would actually happen that way.

it will be the most watched up until the end of the first quarter when we are losing 24-0. i'd switch to reality tv after that too...if i had a cable...or a tv.

What network was the Iowa State - Florida State game (Seneca scored) on? I was there, so don't really recall the network. That was a national game/broadcast right?

Friday night is one of the worst nights for tv ratings fwiw.

that's the beauty of social media....if ISU hangs in there or has a 2nd half lead, people will start tweeting / texting to their friends to turn the game on and bam the ratings are through the rough. they said that is what happended in that cardinals come back win, the ratings in the 9th and extra innings were 2-3 x's higher than innings 5 and 6.

Remember guys, no matter what happens out there, there's 2 billion Chinese that don't give a damn.
