Will Remsberg Play This Week?

His ass is grass for what he did, IMO. Campbell instituting some internal discipline!
Exactly, the suspension ending puts Remsburg at ground zero. Playing him as soon as eligible sends the wrong message.

Probably doesn't matter when he does finally play the O/U on his next injury is around 2 games.

Play the best players you have, assuming he was allowed to work out and practice this fall. 6 games is a serious penalty for his crimes against humanity. Preconditions are full apology to teammates, 110% work effort in practices, and full disclosure. Since he hasn't played since last fall, I am not sure what the exact injury situation is.

I would expect that Remsberg will play if he is healthy, has been practicing, and has shown he is better than the guy who has been starting in the position they have him tagged to play. I doubt he is punished any more, but I also doubt he will be given snaps just because.

One thing with Remsberg is his versatility which is huge for this Oline. He could step in for a few different positions if he is better than the erstwhile starter at any of them.

He also could be valuable if there are any injuries/illness on the Oline going forward.

Losing half this season makes me wonder if he’ll decide to come back for his COVID 6th season.

Guess the same thing goes even more so for DeShawn Hanika—even with a well stocked TE room.

I saw some comments during and after the game that suggested that the poster thought Jake was going to immediately step in for James Neal at LT.

From what I understand, Neal has been doing a pretty good job in pass protection. That totally aside from the fact that Jake will likely take a bit to get up to speed.

Remsburg played RT for Miller last 2 series.
Muro played LT the final series.
