Wideout Brett Eskildsen Commits!

I like that other P5 teams wanted him, and I like that he's fast. But being truthful, I'm not seeing anything crazy from his videos. Hope he turns into something special in a few years
I would say we are thankful to have this young man commit to a team that finished 4-8 last season. I also am mindful that he surely fits the 5-star culture that CMC works hard to instill.

We have a staff that wants to win games, but they just as much want to find good young men they can lead to become the best players they can be, and also the best adults they can be after football. It is a real challenge, as this gambling ordeal has shown. But we have every reason to believe our coaches are honest, we aren't dealing with a toxic culture, or hazing, or racism, or kids being hospitalized from workouts or illegal recruiting tactics.

Give me our coaches and the kids they recruit, like Brett Eskildsen, all day long. They seem to value and represent the things I believe in and want for the team I support. And if they win more games than they lose, that's just icing on the cake.

Speed has a quality all it’s own.

On his (possibly no longer existing) podcast, Sage has mentioned a few times that having a burner opens the field up for everyone else, even if it’s just a dude who’s only skill is “fast,” because defenses have to respect it.

If recruiting is going well, why aren't we even ranked in top 50.
I wouldn’t say it’s going “well”. But we are coming off of two really good recruiting years for ISU at least. And a down season with a smaller class. It was probably always going to be a down class rankings wise. They just needed to sign an underrated class and keep the pipelines full.

All I know is that if this dude went to K-State, he would torched us for 130 yards and 2 TD's every year. Glad he's with the good guys.

A 10.70 100m may help with that “separation” issue.

Welcome to the good guys!
