Really? I was at the game too .(Im a Giants fan) and we must have watched different games..
Yeah the Vikings won, but barely, on a last second field goal, and did so against NY's second team for most of the game. Im not trying to hate on Minn. but without solid qb play (just dont c tjack or gus giving you that) I think its going to be a very tough task. Not to mention that Philly is playing extremely well and just may be the team to look out for! (and believe me, I hate saying that)
With that said, ANYTHING can happen...I was pleasantly stunned last year about this time....:wink:

Giants. Heck I grew up 10 miles from Giants Stadium and I'm old enough to remember their days at Yankee Stadium.

I am the biggest Anti-Manning fan out there! A great defense and a solid run game can take you all the way...Yes Eli is better than T-Jack but I saw him make one DUMB pass, Yes the interception in the endzone! I saw that coming a mile away...As long as he doesn't LOSE us the game, the Vikings can move the ball well...
if by most of the game you mean the last drive or two, then fine. The Giants defensive starters were in the game well into the 4th quarter.

the Vikes don't go all they way I will be pulling for the Falcons...No way the Vikes get past the 1st round unfortunately. The Eagles are on a mission. I don't see anyone beating the Giants though, period.
That is the formula..but the problem with that argument is that with the exception of AZ, all the other teams have a very good defense combined with a good running game, AND very good qb's. (altho I wouldnt be shocked if Matt Ryan struggles)
Also, can Williams play with a broken bone in his shoulder and be affective?
I agree with this - I think the Eagles win at Minny by 10 or more and Atlanta handles Arizona - perhaps by an even bigger margin.
Next round would then give some nice match-ups, both being the 3rd meeting for the respective teams (Giants vs Eagles, Panthers vs Falcons).
