If we were drafting players and coaches from the two teams to form new teams from scratch I would pick in this order...

1. CPR
2. Taylor Martinez
3. about 10-20 other Nebraska players
4. ARob, Lamaak, Franklin, Kirby VDK, Sims, Klein, Knot
5. a few more Nebraska players
... then once every other player, coordinator and waterboy was drafted off each team ...
245. a deformed salivating gorilla on crack cocaine who goes by the name Bo Pelini

I might take the guy if there was some magic guarantee it meant an ISU national championship, otherwise, he makes Chizik seem like pure class.

Yeah, based off of the head-to-head, I don't see how you can make any argument for Pelini. He has so much more talent, yet he's an inch away from being 0-2 against Rhoads. That's coaching, bro.

Bo has done a very nice job at Nebraska. I'll say that much. Rhoads has also done a great job. Bo certainly hasn't been better than CPR in their head to head games.

Bo is a great defensive coach. Check out their def stats under Callahan and what he did with the same players the next year. But the jury is still out as far as a head coach. Head to head in 2 games, CPR all the way. Both started back-up QB's on the road and ISU won by 2 and NU by 1, then look at the talent level and available resources ($) CPR is doing way more with far less, that's called "coaching" and getting your players to perform at 100%. Best coach hands down is Rhoads!

I would draft Herbie Husker first, given his track record of raping and pillaging opponents and innocent bystanders. After that, I would take Ben Bruns for sideline reporter, NU's equipment manager, then go to your list.

Now, go back to each teams game with Texas, a game that T Martinez sttarted. Which coach did the best job vs Texas, Pellini at home in Memorial Stadium or HCPR on the road?
