I thought all the guys had their moments. Kene was pretty good before he got hurt. Lang had some nice runs. Hall looked good at times. Croney showed toughness, but also almost cost the game with a fumble right when he should have had both arms as tight around the ball as he could get them.

I dont know if anyone shined to much today, they all had a moment or 2 here or there. Will need to see as things move forward who continues to improve, and break out more. But I'm not sure the play calling was great for showing a great running. Croney looked good, and seemed to be the one that could get free, but that fumble, OOF!!

Croney most aggressive
Hall overall well rounded
Kene speed on the edge
Lange was quick, but didn't wow

I'd roll do 45/45 Croney/Hall and then some others in the other 10

Wish we could have seen J. Brock

Anyone know what’s going on with Jirehl Brock. Surprised he didn’t see the field today.

I think going 4 deep at running back is enough. If Brock plays he has to take snaps from one of the other 4 and I’m not sure who you’d take snaps from at this point.

Kene came in and was a much needed change of pace back getting to the edge. He was also patient in between tackles and let the play develop. Like a Le’veon Bell. He’s got my vote for today, but I don’t think he will be the main guy all season.

Based on YPC it was Kene, and it was not close. 7.5 YPC and everyone else was at 4.3. Pretty small sample size, as he only got 4 carries, while others all got around a dozen. Hopefully he was no seriously hurt as he does have better speed to the outside than the others. Looked like a shoulder injury of some kind.

Kene is a great "change of pace" guy for < 10 carries per game, and utility type of guy, but I don't see him as an every down back. Also, the question mark of if he can not get banged up.

Yeah, that is pretty much what he is. Would have liked to see him get the last 6 carries today, because he was on a roll.
