Who Shoots the 3?

Anyone worried about where the three's will come from this season? With Bolte gone and Mansfield and Harris playing the 2, we might only have one really consistant three point shooter on the floor at one time. Zim and Prins can come out and shoot but not on a consistent basis. Anyone know how Moody, Ellis and Willamson are at long range?

Z, Prins, and Christofferson were all in the 35%-40% area on threes last season.

Ellis shot 36% behind the arc last season. I can't find Moody's stats for last season, but two years ago she was at 34% as a junior. Both will be threats to put it up. I don't know about Williamson. Mays was not a threat to shoot threes in high school (not a surprise).

Time will tell. Mansfield averaged double digits at the 2 last year with a consistent outside shot at the off guard(i.e. not having to create it), that's why the move. Harris, I hope settles down, she is one of the best 3 point shooters coming out of high school, and has a great shot. BF has said Anna is the best shooter on the team, and averaged 10 points in 22 minutes, so don't know where that comment came from. Quite honestly, we are going to need Anna big time to play against Griner, the 6'8" post at A&M, and other tall ones popping up everywhere. Pop is tough on the post, but she is giving them 1/2 of foot in height, and probably a foot in reach. Moody is probably the most natural PG on the roster, with both a 3 shot and quickness to the hoop(classic PG), but a huge load for any frosh to be PG on this team, esp. in Big 12 play. Hallie C. is said to be our most complete player, adding a consistent 3 shot and hook shot to her game this summer. Williamson is probably our long-term player at the 3 to replace Bolte, have heard she has the 3, but have also heard she can be streaky, Ellis is probably an undersized post/forward, and won't see much playing time as a frosh behind HC, Anna, Pop, Zim, but does have the 3 shot.

The mobile app needs to indicate if the thread is mbb or wbb.

I saw the title and thought, "who won't?"

I saw Williamson play a couple of times in high school. She can shoot the three. From what I saw, I would not call her a prolific shooter like Harris was in high school, but under BF, who knows how she could end up.
