Heck, we could win a BCS championship and it won't change that "not fit for buttwad" paper. Basically because that paper has issues that go way further then sports. Haven't read one for years and have no plans to start

Back in the day, I used to say that if ISU won the national championship, outscoring their opponents 1000 - 0, the "Red Star" would lead the next day off with a full page picture of Hayden Fry taking a dump.

Sorry guys but the headline was "Happy Ending" with a huge photo of Chizik and Bolt. There have been times in past years when I have thought the Register was completely Hawkeye biased but several times this year I have seen the bigger article go towards our Cyclones.

The sports headline today could have easily been that Iowa was one win away from being bowl eligible and I would not have felt like we got the short straw. I give the Des Moines Register credit for highlighting Chizik's first B12 win.
