Ok, So I posted a post a week ago, asking what team in the Big 10 Iowa State most resembles, the consensus was a tie between INDIANA and ILLIONIS.
I think it would be interesting to see who you think the HAWKS resemble in the Big 12....and why?

KState. Fundamentally sound in many key positions. Know how to take advantage during lean competition years. Fairly consistent in w/l.

I'd also say pretty comparable personnel. Hard to compare them to the OK/Texas schools because of speed even in years they have a better record than some of them.

Hands-down it is Nebraska pre-2011, similar fan base & a FB team that occasionally takes advantage of a very easy FB schedule.

I'm with the K-State folks here. We talk a lot about how we would do in the Big 10. I think if you threw K-State into the Big 10, with the schedules Iowa has had recently, you'd see at least similar, but I think, better results. K-State consistently outperforms their talent on paper and I don't see them losing to the Central Michigans or Iowa States of the world as often as Iowa does. The way Snyder coaches his teams, I honestly could see K-State as the team to beat in the West year in and year out.

maybe Texas right now.... I mean those two teams that are over-rated teams that have a unrealistic fan base that doesn't realize that their offense sucks and make pathetic excuses why they lose games

Kansas State in on-field playing style, coaching and team makeup. Texas for off-field fanbase arrogance in spite of middling, inconsistent spurts of success that may or may not be a direct relation to schedule difficulty.

Gotta go with Purple Kansas. Their fans are much better than Iowa's though. So maybe, Purple Kansas with Misery Fans?
