Who Actually Wants To Coach In Ames?

I know Iowa is good, but Prohm is a complete disaster and can’t make a single adjustment. It seems like his days in Ames are numbered. That being said, who actually would want to come to Ames? I feel like TJ likely doesn’t want to come to this disaster that a guy like Prohm would leave this program in. Basketball looks like it’s at least half a decade away from even being competitive, unless we can bring in a good coach.

It’s not a talent issue it’s coaching. Nearly every coach since Orr has proved you can get good kids to play in Ames. You can pay someone far less and get way better results.
We have an okay amount of talent. Prohm’s first year we had all the talent in the world and massively underperformed. Prohm is a horrible coach and needs to go so that we can go back into rebuilding mode, even though we’ve been in rebuilding mode since Prohm got to Ames.

I don't give a damn who coaches ISU anymore, as long as it's not Prohm. Was never thrilled about him, but gave him a chance. Surprised me when we won the Big 12 (even if they were Hoiberg's recruits), but the trend the past couple years. I'm over him and don't even wanna watch ISU basketball anymore until he's gone

LOL to all of those “I’m proud of the effort tonight” people.

Give up 105
Lose by 30
Turn it over 17 times

All against your in-state rival.

I’d hate to see what a bad effort looks like.
I was in the ‘proud of our effort club’ tonight...and I stand by my post. I was simply giving props to our guys. Of course losing badly to the hawks sucks. However, I’m not going to bag on our players who bust their arses day in and day out for our school.

I do take issue with our coach- it’s clear he’s ran our once-proud program into the ground. Only problem is- we can’t afford to get rid of him right now so we’re stuck.

The ****** thing is, the only thing at stake here is money. In every aspect it's in the programs best interest to move on from Prohm but we're too invested at this point. The scary part is, we probably haven't even hit rock bottom. Watching Prohm drag us there is going make for a brutal next couple of years.
