White Soxs aquire Ramon Castro catcher from the Mets for pitcher Lance Broadway

It's actually a pretty good deal for the Sox. Castro is a good backup catcher, and the Mets are paying a portion of his salary.

The Mets had three catchers, and with the return of Brian Schneider, they had to make a move, so they were "motivated sellers".

And I want the Twins to get a consistent middle infielder who doesn't flirt with the Mendoza line most of the year. Alas, it just isn't meant to be.

If the Sox somehow manage to get Webb, I'll just wake myself up and chalk it up to a bad dream.
