Which ex-ISU player had best pro career in MLB, NFL, NBA?

NBA - I would say Jeff Hornacek over Fred Hoiberg.

Matt Blair was the first player that came to mind, hard to beat that career. No Super Bowl win though, sorry Vike fans.

NBA: Hornacek, Tinsley, Hoiberg, , Zaid Abdul-Aziz, Grayer, Big Vic

Probably in that order for me.

NFL: Blair (unanimous), James Reed, Reggie Hayward, Ahtyba Rubin, Sage, Hobbs

Hobbs ahead of both Sage and Seneca. He started pretty much his whole career, including in a Super Bowl. I think Sage and Seneca are about equal. Both were career back-ups with short stints starting due to injury. I'd actually put Seneca a little higher because he saw the field in some specially designed WR plays the year the Seahawks made the super bowl.

I know it only 2 years but KO already has a super bowl ring and was really good as a rookie. Also who was the Safety for the Oilers/titians that was #31 the started for a long time and I think made a pro-bowl or two?

Edit:*xobox got it Robertson he was a good pro

Not much to pick from in MLB. I read somewhere that Bob Locker is the only ISU grad to play on a World Series Champ - 1972 Oakland A's. He did play 14 years in the majors and had good success as a relief pitcher.

Bob Locker or Mike Myers for baseball. Locker had the better stats, bu Myers helped to revolutionize bullpens and was one of the most coveted "situational lefties" around towards the end of his career.

Of recent NBA players, I think it would go:

1. Hornacek
2. Cato
3. Hoiberg
4. Tinsley

Cato ended up making the most $$ of any of them, I think.

Some interesting all time NBA career rankings Hornacek:

#31 all time in steals
#44 all time in assists (incredible for a shooting guard)
#13 all time free throw %
#25 all time 3 point %
