Where has all the defense gone?

I watched some great offensive games on TV yesterday and we will see more today. I would like to see a good defensive team play today somewhere.

I think the defensive play of every game I watched yesterday made you think each team was going to score everytime you got the ball.

LSU's defense looked bad most of the game to me, the Colorado and Nebraska game was a joke, I watched some of the Texas/aTm game and the Texas defense of old was no where to be found, and watching the Hawaii game was like watching a track meet.

I would like to see a good team step up and play a great defensive game today.

Maybe I just watched the wrong games yesterday.

You need to watch some Big 11 games. They don't have great defenses, but their offenses suck enough to make it seem that way.

This quote is absolutely true!

By the way, the rulemakers have given us this brand of football because they know that people prefer offense to defense. Look at the rules...you can't touch the receivers, you can't touch the quarterback and they let the offensive linemen hold just about as much as they want. All they have to do now is repeal the block in the back penalty they call on so many kick returns and we will be set!

As much as you all knock Ohio State, their defense is usually pretty tough. About every 2 years they lose at least half of it to the NFL in Day 1 draft picks and just re-load with the next group of future all-americans.
