WHERE ARE THEY NOW: Ellis Hobbs III

My best Ellis memory:

My first home game as a member of the drumline. It was beaten into our heads before the game "Do not let anyone touch your drum." We were told to smack people with our sticks if they tried to touch our drum. We walked into Jace Trice and #11 walks up and starts tapping on my drum with his hands. I wisely chose to let him continue...

Hobbs is one of my favorites too. Didn't know a lot of that about him though :)
Good read as always, Rob. How about a where are they now on Ryan Sloth? He is an interesting story. 5'6" white boy from Belmond who starts at CB for a Big 12 squad and then gets some acting gigs and writes children's books. And he was always a really nice kid with a good head on his shoulders.

Great piece, Rob.

Ellis Hobbs is one of my all-time favorite cyclones. Do you think he has had the best NFL career of any cyclone? If not, I'd think he is up there.

Love hearing him talk about his business helping athletes navigate financial issues after pro sports.

Rob, do you have any more info about what he actually does or who his clients are? I would love to hear even more about this.
