I write this fully expecting to rack up the "I'm just being realistic!!!!" types of replies. But when did CF become full of 80 year old 'Get off my Lawn!' types in here. This site has been consumed by these types of posts in every thread, especially regarding football, hence why I posted this as a football thread. To top it off, it has seemed to open the door to every opponent's posters to chime in on their opinion, ie. 'You suck!' types of posts regardless of topic.
Without calling everyone out specifically, posters I always thought had a positive attitude have succombed to this level of posting. A poster I'll call 'XXXXXX' fits this bill perfectly right now, and man it's depressing coming on here. I'm even GASP thinking of finding alternative ways to waster my day at work. So in the immortal words of Vince Vaughn in Old School, "Come on baby, you're better than that. There's kids around, wag your tail a little."
Post honestly, but highlight the positive, enjoy the summer! Melting down before something ever happens ensures less enjoyment if you're wrong later on. This is much much larger than my typical post of some snarkey comment, so here's the preemptive TL;DR posters too. I got this sneaking suspicion we'll all be pleasantly surprised this upcoming season.
