How much weight Niang has lost and still plays and old mans game?
How Niang played with Noel's?
How Hogue and McKay have played together for 3 or 4 years and came from the same Juco?
How dreamy and highly wanted Hoiberg is?
How we had a chance to go further if Niang didn't break his foot.

Just remember last year them repeating the same thing game in game out, wondering what it will be this year.

I think a combination of Niang having a great season and how BDJ is yet another transfer who has thrived under Hoiberg.

1. Niangs weight loss.
2. Broken foot/ final four contenders. Hogues game at MSG.
3. Monte being Mr. basketball for the state of Michigan and setting a new record for assist to turnover ratio as a freshman.
4. McKay not being able to play until Dec 20 because he initially went to Marquette.

I really hope we don't have to hear the whole Noel thing again this year.

-Matt Thomas has really gained confidence since his freshman campaign (wishful thinking)
-The story of Monte and his mother
-BDJ, McKay, and Nader all transferring in with a map graphic of where they came from (maybe cooke too)
-Hoiberg's heart surgery
-Niang's weight loss
-Hogue's explosion in the NCAA tourney

This. The Hoiberg ballboy to coach story will only get better and better.

Every year that passes the story gets better. Instead of living a block from the stadium he walked 5 miles each way to be the ball boy because he was that committed to Iowa State. Next year he walked five miles each way on a broken foot foot. The following year he went partially blind from the sun during those long walks and still managed to become a ballboy.
