what to do in Lubbock

They have some pretty cool fly over bridges. Buddy Holly museum. Lots of BBQ places. Seems a lot of new eating places are in the Southwest side of the city. If you get off the bypass that circles the city it is pretty darn desolate out there.

Lubbock has some great live music venues. Not sure of your music taste but Ryan Bingham (One of my favorite) and Pat Green (way more to him than the Iowa Waive song) both play in town that weekend. Also several bars with local acts that do not disappoint.

They have one of the best dessert places I’ve ever been to. Can’t give you much more than that

I’m planning on going to Lubbock as well. You hear people talk these places down but sometimes they aren’t so bad.

Ryan Bingham would be a sweet show to catch.

I think pretty much every college town has enough fun stuff going on to make a good weekend out of it. People that make fun of Lubbock, Ames, Manhattan, Morgantown, etc are either failing an attempt at being funny or are ignorant.
