Donor lots 6 hours before, correct? Had a debate with a fellow donor on this topic tonite.
Isn’t it 6 hours prior to kickoff or 7 AM, whichever is earlier?Donor lots 6 hours before, correct? Had a debate with a fellow donor on this topic tonite.

That was the debate. The other person said 7am every Saturday. I assume what you wrote based on ISU published rules.Isn’t it 6 hours prior to kickoff or 7 AM, whichever is earlier?
I know it’s not at 7 every week. If there is an 11:00 kickoff the lots should open at 5 AM.That was the debate. The other person said 7am every Saturday. I assume what you wrote based on ISU published rules.
I’m poor so I’m in the low end lots.Yeah, we're here. Where the heck ARE you!
*Prefacing this post to say I don't want anyone to make comments that turns this into a cave discussion because this is not my intent. Keep your politics and vaccination crap to yourself if this post strikes a nerve.*
Unfortunately I will be staying at home for this game despite being super jacked up about tailgating again after missing a whole year plus having 2019 tailgating somewhat wrecked by the grass lots closed for most of the season. My 4 year old tested positive for Covid on Friday and we have found out several kids in her daycare center did too in the past week. And now my wife who is also vaccinated like myself tested positive yesterday which certainly came from her exposure to our 4 year old because she works from home and only leaves the house about once a week to run errands at the store. Good news is both just have very mild symptoms so far. Crossing my fingers my 2nd grader and myself test negative Thursday so we can start to get the household closer to normal next week and she can go back to school as 2 days in and she is already going nuts being away from school. Just doing the responsible thing regardless of test results as this week is already taking a toll on us mentally so don't need any extra drama in the house by leaving the wife with 2 kids for a day while 2 of the 3 are getting over their symptoms while dad is away having fun in Ames.
I'm not afraid of going into Jack Trice with over 60k in attendance as I have already been exposed to people with Covid in the past year and not contracted it that I am aware of. These past several days have been a real eye opener to our household that even if things seem closer to "normal" right now even with us doing our part we are not bullet proof.
Respect your fellow Cyclone fans and do the right thing. Be part of the solution and not part of the problem.
So, what are you suggesting is the "right" thing?
Man, if I had covid in my house, to me the right thing would be to stay home and not potentially spread it to others.

If you or anyone in your household is experiencing Covid symptoms stay at home until you are comfortable that you are in the clear and not at risk of spreading the virus. Also don't judge or mock any fans that choose to wear a mask to the game. I have some friends with season tickets too that mentioned to me today they are nervous about a full stadium with everything going on right now. I honestly do not know what I will do about the CyHawk game as I hate wearing a mask but I have been going into the office during the pandemic which requires me to wear a mask and I mostly sit around strangers at Jack Trice so they probably won't give a damn if I decide to mask up.
