This is how I see the starting five to start the season
PG-Diante Garrett
SG-Sean Haluska/Lucca Staiger depending on ruling
SF-Rashon Clark
PF-Wesley Johnson
C-Jiri Hubalek
Excuse my ignorance but what ruling are we waiting on?
 
Staiger is being investigated to make sure he didnt receive any money beyond what was needed to cover expenses while he was on a club team in Germany.
 
CJ Bruton II


Since it is ISU, we can be guaranteed he will never play. Mark it down, chisel it in stone.
 
Are we the only team that gets investigated when we sign foreign players, ala Jiri Hubalek, CJ Bruton. I am sure there are others. Can't remember if they investigated Rancik or Julo
 
The NCAA rears its ugly head again. If he is declaired ineligible...I will be pissed. KU paid multiple players over many years, and nothing was done. Ohio State had numerous violations and all they received was a slap on the wrist.

That's why the NCAA is such a sham...those teams bring in huge revenue for the NCAA, there for is swept under the rug. Same with the Reggie Bush deal at USC and I forgot about Jarrett's deal with Lienert. NCAA makes examples out of smaller bases so somewhere they can send a report to someone and say here, look what great job we've done! Makes me PUKE!:no::no::no:
 
For those curious, Lucca was in uniform and looked healthy at the team picture at Hilton toady.

FWIW....Jiri has put on some good weight and actually looks the part of a Big 12 post.
 
Yeah, just based on past experience I have a bad feeling about this one. What are the most serious consequences if a violation is found? Would it be a multi-game suspension like Jiri last season or would he have his scholarship taken away for good?

He would have any elegibility from participating at any university other than KU taken away.
 
Somebody said at worst it would be some sort of suspension. Can't find the thread right now.
 
That's good... I was little but I still remember the CJ Bruton situation. I nearly cried. :sad:
