I see things about Kansas reaching out to the Big 10, Texas schools plus OSU reaching out to the pack 12...leaves me to wonder what out plan is and what we are actively doing to ensure our relevance. I haven't seen much solid reporting regarding that. Am O missing something?

The less you hear publicly the better. It’s not like ISU administration are just sitting around wringing their hands. Things are in motion. Probably multiple things. The first rule of joining the Big 10. Don’t talk about joining the Big 10. Ask Missouri how that went.
We won’t find out anything concrete until OK and TX officially withdraw from the BIG12, hopefully sooner than later.
As for the KU reaching out to the B1G, there’s a tweet refuting that it actually happened.
This is just like 2010 when the **** hit the fan. People glom on to rumors and innuendo, repeat it, tweet it and it’s regurgitated back to us as fact. I think this is how all the B1G talk came about.
With that said, on Cyclone Report, there’s a credible source saying that ISU is headed to the B1G. Goddamn it, I just helped spread a rumor. I better go tweet it…

I'd be shocked if KU hasnt reached out. As with us, the question is more about the big 10's answer.
What you're missing is that we have an AD that does stuff on his own and doesn't leak anything throughout the process. Other schools have AD's that reach out to whatever search firm or booster they can to make contacts. That leads to information getting out no matter how concrete any lead is. You're going to hear over the next few days about every school reaching out to different conferences. But reaching out doesn't equate to a mutual interest.
Join that premium board that knew of the TX and OU SEC exit? Pay money for that quality insight? …Seems like a waste of money
I'd be shocked if a meeting of that magnitude can be arranged and held in less than 24 hours. I'm sure something is on the schedule, but the Big10 probably wasn't going to clear their schedule on Friday to talk to Kansas. Maybe Texas could have gotten a meeting, but everyone else needs to find an open slot on the calendar for next week. ISU included.
Texas gets many things they don’t always deserve. Guess they out kick the coverage.
Money still matters and perception is more important than reality
Ohio State is roughly same as Texas to Big. Yet they share revenues instead of asking for two pieces of the pie.
