Looking to head to WV for the game this year. I know it’s been discussed before on here but looking for any insight from anyone who has made the trek to Morgantown before. I am planning on taking an RV if anyone has any experience with the RV situation out there.

We went 2 years ago and the fans were wonderful to us probably the nicest fans we have ever met on a road trip. It’s a beautiful little mountain like town. The bar you need to go to is called Kegler‘s it’s a fun place and it’s a walkable distance to the stadium. Have fun

Live here. People are great. Very similar to Iowans and Minnesotans. Which is a stark contrast to having lived in California. Sure, there are outliers just like everywhere else. Expect extra hospitality as a remaining 8. Hoping to get to the game as well. Keep bouncing this post as the game nears.

Kegler's is a good spot for lunch or mid-day beers. For actual nightlife, you should head down to High Street. They have Uber/Lyft now so it won't be such a headache.

WVU is the best football road trip I've ever taken. Their fans are incredibly hospitable. Absolute salt-of-the-earth and they just want you to get drunk and have a good time. You will never see more moonshine in your life than in a Morgantown tailgate lot.

I'll be there. My dad and I are road tripping it out there, staying in southwestern PA. I have no insight to offer, but I'm excited for the trip. Could easily be the last time ISU plays at WVU.

Last time I went I parked here (looks like the purple lot on that parking map) which is an easy walk to and from the Stadium. It's also close to Kegler's as well. Of course I was in a car. Hopefully someone can give you some insight into parking the RV

My wife and I are making the trip from the DC area again this year. This will be our third time making the 4 hour drive to Morgantown. As everyone else has said, it's a great road game to attend. Reminds me a lot of being in Ames at JTS. We usually just make it a day trip, so can't help as much with hotels/bars etc.

I did want to mention, if you want to get tickets in the ISU visitor section, we get ours through the DC chapter of the alumni association. It's a lot more fun than being random ISU fans surrounded by WVU fans. Two years ago we actually sat right behind Joe Scates' mom and family and he caught his first collegiate TD in the second half. It was really cool celebrating with them - actually one of my favorite moments I've had at any ISU sporting event.
