Not in any specific order:

Bad weather down here, but the place was half full (or half empty?) suprised they don't support them better.

I agree that it would be cool to see that Page kid attacked by a Gorilla from the Omaha zoo.

We fall apart anytime we try to "work" the clock. Especially when Diante is the only ball handler and he tends to get excited in crunch time.

Scotty needs something to get his mojo back. He can handle the ball with the best of em but he still seems to shy away from taking charge when Diante needs help...like he did in "preseason" . Diante got on him pretty good (in a respectful way) a couple times during TO.

Sat behind ISU bench...Bobby Lutz expletive-laden rant about the refs was totally awesome!! At least 4 F-bombs in 2 sentences.

Big Country and Eddie Sutton were there...that was cool.

Gallagher-IBA Arena couldn't hold Hilton's jock strap.

Never gonna get back to DSM with this ice...but it was worth it!!!

I don't recall exactly what call it was but it happened right before a time out and was during our "slowdown". I thought the refs were equally terrible for both teams.

Appreciate the analysis! Take care on the ice-- 10 and 2 on the wheel!! Take care buddy!

I hope I'm at Hilton on the day that Fred unleashes on an official with an LE rant. I don't know if he'll ever do it but I hope I'm there.

There are some that feel we didn't try to work the clock last night, but I think they feel that way because OSU was pressuring the ball and that was different then how others have defended us down the stretch.

We, however, weren't trying to attack that press. It looked like we were just trying to survive it.

When this group shifts gears and attempts to work the clock it seems to affect their defense as much as their offense. They become passive on both ends of the floor as opposed to the attacking style they play with throughout the game.

I love these guys and I want to see them have success, but I can't help but feel they are better off (win or lose) if they just keep their foot on the peddle and let the chips fall where they may.

The famous Bill Murray quote from "Caddyshack" seems appropriate, "I'd keep playing".

Actually, from what I've heard, in the era of steering wheel airbags, the appropriate grip is 4 and 8 so your arms don't interfere with/get broken by an airbag deployment. But I digress...

Good point. I just meant to have two hands on the wheel. Your point is well taken though!
