That Black Sabbath released what many would call the greatest heavy metal album of all time.

War Pigs. Well, Paranoid after Warner Bros. made them change the title.

It's not my favorite (tie Black Sabbath / Vol. 4) but it is my second favorite and it's absolutely amazing.

awesome album. Would be my favorite but KGGO overplayed it so much growing up

They changed the album name buy kept the original album art that was for War Pigs
While the original art does make more sense with War Pigs, I always thought it tracked with Paranoid too... some fruitloop out in the woods swinging his weird sword around in a home made get-up. It works.

Jesus that group who grew out of the ashes of the great war....

Dark, ****** up, wonderful ****

Death and hatred to mankind!!!

Paranoid is not my favorite of Sabbath's albums, but War Pigs is my favorite Sabbath song.

Iirc correctly you're an MoR guy? Into The Void is probably in my top three tunes whilst not being on my favorite album either. There's genius on every record. Well, maybe no genius on Technical Ecstacy but Back Street Kids is pretty great.

great tunes on this one....thanks for posting! Talented, tough guys....

Yep. Into the void is my jam for sure.

War Pigs is such a great song. It rings as true today as it did then. And it would ring true for every part of human history.
