What time is arrival?

This team deserves to see our appreciation after a beat down of tech.

2 more wins and we don't stay home for Christmas!

Act like you've been there before and you actually expected to win. Lots of work to do before this is a successful season. We have to get past the point where we celebrate wins with homecoming parties.

Agree. It's a great win, but you gotta act like you've been there. Celebrate it, enjoy it, then prepare to throttle Kansas.

I'm thinking that we haven't been there too often before. I'm really okay with people treating this as a bowl game. (Our Superbowl if you will) because it may have to be for this year. Beating a top 20 team hasn't happened a lot for ISU and while I hope for more, this may have to be the highlight of the year. For those of us that have live through a lot of seasons with far far far less, I say enjoy it. I would if I could be in Iowa. This team deserves the reward.

Here's to them building a foundation where we really can feel like we've been there before, but right now it is the foundation being built and the fans have an obligation to show the enthusiasm to do their part in building that foundation. I appreciate the work the guys have put in and the discipline that finally really shined and showed this week.

This. Spread the word to all your cyclone friends and neighbors. Pack the Jack!

Unranked Iowa State, coming off a 4 game losing streak, beat a top-20 team. Your damn right it's something we should celebrate.

If and when we get to the point where we are a perennial top-20 team and we beat an unranked or lower ranked team, then I'd agree with the above statements.

Yes, they deserve our support. That doesn't mean not showing up at 3am means we're NOT showing the proper support.

Never said we couldn't celebrate or that the players shouldn't celebrate. Just don't think every "big" win should be/needs to be celebrated with a coming home party/celebration. I am excited as the next person and the team deserves a lot of props for pulling off the upset. Just be excited tonight and tomorrow start getting ready for KU without having a coming home party, don't think that is such a bad thing.

Yes.

I wouldn't want the team to think nobody noticed, which I guess is one argument toward a come-home greeting. But I'm pretty certain they know fans are as excited about this as they are.

I'd rather save big coming-home celebrations for (1) bowl wins; (2) huge road victories that have additional meaning (conference titles, clinching a major bowl slot).
