Monster AFC West matchup tonight with the Raiders traveling to KC. Games with major playoff implications all over the place this weekend - HOU @ IND, Pit @ BUF, DEN @ TEN, SEA @ GB, and then two more good primetime games to finish off the weekend with DAL @ NYG and BAL @ NE on Monday night. The Ravens/Pats game looks like a mismatch on paper but the Ravens tend to bring their A game against New England.

David Carr has never played in a game below 40 degrees. Supposed to be in the teens. Chiefs win

This is the time of year the NFL really takes center stage. CFB regular season is over, bowls haven’t started yet, fantasy football playoff are starting and most importantly teams are fighting for spots/positioning in the playoffs. Should be a great weekend of football; as a Packers fan I’m nervous as this game against Seattle will make or break their season. We’ve lost to them in heartbreaking fashion more than enough times in recent years.

Yeah, the next few weeks and the postseason will be the true test to see if the NFL's popularity is on the decline. If ratings keep dropping then they know they have a serious problem.

That's kind of a surprising stat considering he's in his third year as a starter. I would have thought by now he had played a cold weather game somewhere in November or December.

Rooting hard for the Chefs and Cowboys to win this week. Both the Raiders and Giants need to be put back in their place.

I'm a Broncos fan, just for this week. A Tennessee loss all but eliminates them from the AFC South cluster****.

Go Chiefs!

I have a first round FF playoff bye, so the only thing I'm worried about is injuries. I can watch games and not watch players so much this weekend. Should be fun!

I like the Chiefs tonight. I'd take them seriously as a Super Bowl contender if it wasn't for playoffs Andy Reid. You just know that at some point this season he's going to botch a clock management situation and cost his team the game.

At least the Chiefs didn't let me down.

^never thought I'd say that

They will probably let you down. It's my experience that when you want a team to win that you almost never cheer for they come up short. If Lynch is playing the Titans def. will win. Barely got past an awful Jags team last week.

I mentioned this is the repost thread, but if anyone had a drinking game going last night where you drank every time Collingsworth talked about Osemele (who wasnt even active), you're probably dead.

A lot of chatter on Twitter that the Carr pass to Cooper where at the last second Cooper looks to trip over his own feet and miss the catch completely actually hit the spider cam wire, which would make perfect sense based on what we saw. If so...thank you spider cam wire!
