We Will Not Beat Colorado Next Week.

I know a lot of us have penciled this in as our bowl ticket but there is no way this offense is good enough to win us another game. We are too banged up to be effective. Arnaud's hand is clearly effecting him, and Tiller is too inexperienced to be effective or consistant. Overall the Offense has taken a significant step backwards from midway through the year and it will be hard to score double figures on the buffs (and if you think Colorado's D is bad remember how we barely managed 10 pts. on a horrid aTm defense).

I'm not concerned at all about the CU game next week. OK State was a horrific match up for us. CU won't be able to expose our lack of speed on defense.

Colorado is No OK ST. that being said, no game is a for sure game for us and no game should be even expected as a win. This team has a long ways to go before we are considered a good team. To say we will definitely lose, is as off base as saying we definitely will win though.

I believe in this coach. He'll get us ready for CU.

I will never say never, but it's not looking good. If you had to describe ISU as "contenders" or "pretenders" right now... I would say we are pretenders.

If the other team doesn't turn it over 8 times, we don't have much of a shot when our top QB is suffering badly.

Rhoads was correct at the half... our defense was keeping us in the game. But 3 and outs on every offensive possession is the fastest way to kill your defense.

I really wish we weren't on national tv right now. It isn't helping us whatsoever.

Oh... and by the way... CU is playing WAY better than us right now.

We've never been as good as some here have felt, nor are we as bad as we seem right now. This team is just as limited as the last 3-4-5 years were. As much as some of us love the new coaching staff, we still lack the horses to compete regularly. Speed kills - teams like ours that lack it.

I think we lack size too... especially up front on defense. OSU is getting a heck of a push from their offensive line.

Rump looks like he will be a great one for us. He looks the part and is only a sophomore. Maggitt looks like he could be a good one. Neal tries his hardest, but he's WAY undersized.... most FBS college teams LBers are bigger than Neal. We desperately need a couple JUCO D-linemen.

C'mon now. Don't get so down on 'em right away just because of this game.

Remember that OSU is the second best team in the big 12 and has great speed and the best run defense in the conference. Since ISU runs more than they pass it makes it hard to establish the offense.

I didn't think we'd beat Nebraska, but hey, that's why you play the game.

We will only be able to win if our offense becomes somewhat competent. We've now scored 10 points or less in 4 out of 9 games this season. That is absolutely pathetic in the Big XII. So much for our "high-powered" offense.

Oh yeah...let's just write off every game remaining...oh and while you're at it, write off the next few seasons. Talk like this makes me sick...what do you gain starting a thread like this? "dude, I told you we would lose! I started a thread about it! I'm a freaking genius god of predicting! Trust me with all future guesses!"

Put your left hand to your head, extend your thumb out and your pointer finger up. Now look in the mirror! Cmon, whats up with posts like this? AA comes off a two game absense, Stephensen has an appendectomy and ARob has a groin injury and this is the support you give them. NICE
