Still too early to tell IMO. Need to get Jordoa (spelling?) Playing again and integrated with Kane and Soares. The ceiling can be really high on this team though. I'm more bullish on Soares than many on this board, but 3 solid bigs along with our guards we should be able to find a way to score. Our defense has been looking good enough IMO.

I'd like to think minimum of sweet 16 but it's basketball so who knows.

Lots of room for growth, but the best part is we know this team will listen, learn and grow. Soares is the missing puzzle piece and as mentioned, getting Jordao back is a big piece. The talent and determination are there for this team to be truly special. Final Four possible? Yes. Finals? That’s what dreams are made of.

This week will be a massive test. Could lose 2 games in Portland and we will all feel differently. Win both? No ceiling imo

Amazingly Soares is still on a learning curve!

The test will come when big, tough, talented, posts and forwards push and pivots into the lane. If she can hold her own the rest of the team will make the effort to make a difference.

Losing to the Spartans would be an upset. They are a middle of the pack Big Ten team although they played better teams close last year. Either #8 North Carolina or #18 Oregon will be a really good neutral court test versus a ranked team. North Carolina is playing #18, maybe #5 (assume we both advance) and #6 Hoosiers @ Indiana all in one week.
