When I think of the differences between Clark and Boston they are interesting. Boston isn’t needed to score 25 per game on her team or she easily could. That is an indicator of more talent on the entire team. What Boston does that makes a major impact is rebound at the rate of a dozen per game. That’s a hard work, positioning, hustle type of stat. Not as flashy as chucking up mid court three's but probably more impactful on the success of the team.Example:

Sometimes I just wanted them, him especially, to stop trying to describe every single things that was happening. It got so he couldn't finish a thought because the players and ball moved too quickly.Good for South Carolina.
Do ESPN's announcers ever know that them yelling doesn't make something more interesting?
I cannot tell a lie I enjoyed watching Geno's team get destroyed. Geno is a good coach who has built the best program in the country. When he gets on his soap box it rings hollow because his program isn't like any in the country. He will just get the next 5 star McMerican on his list to choose from. That notation that 25% or so of the kids entering the portal end up nowhere is kinda telling. Not everyone is even going to get an offer. I think sometimes the impression is everybody wins and moves to a better situation. Maybe, maybe not.
Interesting take from Geno. True for the elites, what he is saying. However, not everything that is true for the elites is true for the general run of the mill P6 teams, even ones' that are pretty good.

I think what you are seeing is that the last few years South Carolina is actually recruiting a higher level than UConn and we are closer to parity in the top 10. Geno is now seeing what the other coaches had to deal with since he no longer has the most talented roster in the country.
And more transfer issues of the negative kind for Brenda Frese,
No linkSpeaking of 2022, here's a linky to Prospect Nations best players and where they are head, Class of 2022.
Top 25 headed to the usual elite teams with one glaring omission, no Baylor recruits. Pac-12 is also rolling in a slew of top recruits. Total Top 25's going to the Big 10 and the Big 12, only one at #25 going to Texas. Big10/12 combined only have 10% of the PN's Elite 150.
Oddity, Minnesota, in the midst of their dumpster fire with only three kids on the current roster has three of the Big 10's Elite 150 recruits. Iowa also has three in the Elite 150, other Big 10 schools not so much. Maryland has only one, seems that maybe Coach Freze's recruiting streak isn't as hot as it used to be. The #2 recruit in the country is from Maryland and she is going to UCLA.
Somebody will get a nice player in Esmery Martinez - she was the one player on WVU I enjoyed watching - pretty shot and strong rebounder! Some Big 12 transfer news
