WBB: General 2022 Off-season Cyclone Stuff

Thought since the season's been over a month now we could have an off-season thread of Cyclone WBB stuff.

Saw this posting of the team at our ISU/Iowa softball game. Some fun pictures. Not sure who the girls in Nebraska sweats were but they were getting autographs and posing with A. Joens so sorta cool.

2018 Costa Rica. I believe once every 4 years. Before it was Italy in 2014

Ashley participated in 2019 with Alexa Middleton, Kristin Scott and Madison Wise.

This is going on right now. ISU is up 9-6 against the team from Tennessee currently

Tamari Key, a 6-6 center, was killing with her size, but ISU won 21-13 with the help of 3 point shooting and good movement

That was a lot of fun to watch. Iowa State's group is built really well for 3v3, with everyone being switchable and being able to do pretty much anything on the court. Key did dominate offensively, but she was getting worn out having to chase around all of our women with how fast-paced this style is. Iowa State will struggle though if they run into a team with a post who can score inside but is also athletic enough to keep up defensively.

I keep forgetting the height of these ladies until they lineup. Emily is 5'11" and she seems to be the shortest by a fair amount except for Shantavia Dawkins. Stephanie Soares looks quite a bit taller here than I imagined.

Unless I missed something, this is the first time we have pictures of Dawkins with the team in Ames.

I see most of the team was there except Joens, McGraw, Jordao and Fritz. Shantavia Dawkins is in Ames! And by the way, Soares makes everyone look small even Kane.

In the other Knight bracket Iowa WBB open against the other Oregon, than play either Duke or UConn.
