Way to Early 2017 Big 12 Pedictions

With the Big 12 now done with bowl play (And a strong showing none the less)- Who are early the favorites to get it done next year?

1. OSU
12-1 (8-1) Wins CCG

Rudolph, Washington and a whole bunch else coming back after emasculating Colorado.

2. OU
12-1 (9-0) Loses CCG

Baker. Beating tOSU in Columbus early in the season creates a whole bunch more playoff controversy.

3. WVU
10-2 (7-2)

Could actually be better with Will Grier in 2017. Great OL and Improved defense in 16 means alot going forward.

4. UT
9-3 (6-3)

Herman Era starts big with a win against USC. One year away from being in the playoff talk.

5.TCU
8-4 (5-4)

Kenny Hill and GPAT gets the defense back on track.

6. KSU
8-4 (5-4)

Snyder does it one more time. Ertz proves to be one of the better QBS in the conference.

7. ISU
7-5 (4-5)

Takes the Cyclones 4 games before the OL and DL start to click and end the season winning 3 of 4. JP, JL, and Zeb all take snaps at QB.

4-8 (2-7)

Matt Rhule has a full blown rebuilding job and less scholarships to do it on.

No Mahomes= Kliff and his aviators jettisoned out of Lubbock

Hate to say it but we'll have to beat Iowa to go bowling.

Nah, Tech and TCU would also be in the winnable category. I also think Iowa has the potential to take a serious step in the wrong direction next year, especially if Wadley leaves. With King graduating the secondary is going to open up and I like our WR's chances of getting open.

He did include Tech. But yeah, TCU should be included in the winnable games column.

King was equally valuable on special teams with his ability to flip the field. Losing him & Beat Hard will really hurt the ioLa haks.

If we can figure out a way to stop the run, this team will improve greatly. Won't be easy as we're still thin @ interior D line & linebacker. Hopefully the jucos turn out, Cotton-Moya stays, & we can find some wingmen for Willey Harvey. McMillen needs to step up. Were there rumors of Tymar Sutton impressing? Maybe one or both of the incoming freshmen linebackers will contribute as well.

I forgot to ask you on 247 but why do you think Zeb will be taking snaps? I think JP has a very bright future and will be the starter for the next two years.

I doubt ISU wins 7 but understand the optimism. Also dropping K-State after a 9 win season with everyone returning, pretty much, is noteworthy but not surprising (here) either.
