Way better than they were

Just watching the game last night, I would like to say that in the teams defense we are 100 times better than we were at the beginning of the season. I couldn't hardly even stand watching them during pre conference and the first 1/2 of conference season.

We weren't as talented and definitely couldn't compete under the basket with OSU. But this whole season while disappointing, I don't think this season was a total disaster.

I just wanted something positive stated for the coaches, players, and especially the seniors that stuck it out for 4 years.
 
Here's to returning our players and moving forward.
 
Agree, we played about as well as we could play yesterday. OSU is just better than us, most telling was the first half, we were playing as well as we had all year and only had a 3 point lead.
 
The most frustrating thing for me was coming out of the locker room and getting destroyed all year long. McD needs to work on making adjustments in the off season.
 
We just need a legit threat to take the ball to the basket and a little better shooting, however, if we had people who could drive our shooting might improve.

Multiple legitimate threats so that an off night by one guy doesn't implode the whole team.
 
Our problem is athletes. It really is that simple. Our guys cannot play a full game because they just get worn out. An increase in talent will fix the problem.

This kind of contradicts your statement of playing good defense. Moses and the other tore us a new one in the paint last night.

I think that getting players that make our team more than 1-dimensional will really help this. Take the game yesterday, for example: 1st half was all Brackins, 2nd half OSU was all over Brackins, we had no one else that can step up and carry the team. That's part of the reason they were just throwing up three's in the second half. There was nothing else they knew how to do.
 
I'm not saying we have a lot of improvement to do, and we definitely need some more consistent players. But over all they were definitely playing better basketball.

By the way I wasn't saying our D-fense was good, because they did get lit up under the basket. I meant it as in the teams defense like defending them..
