Walters vs. Perrault

Thanks, I've seen this conversation talked about here but I've never heard it.

I love the laugh that CW is trying to hold back after Walters goes off on Perrault. I don't listen to Des Moines radio but he came off as a whiny child.

This is also a good reference for the people who think JP shouldn't get any credit for hiring Hoiberg. It was a definite dice roll.

I don't know who that idiot is screaming at John Walters and why anyone would pay him to talk about sports or listen to him.

I think my dog would sound more articulate on the radio.
 
Perrault blocked me on twitter, otherwise I would so link and send this to him.

No doubt about it. If you hire a legend, then you risk having to fire a legend. It was an extremely high risk/high reward scenario, especially for a guy with zero coaching experience.
 
The good news is that Ken Miller confirmed that Perrault will not be rejoining him. I can't wait to forgot about who he is.
 
The funniest part of that whole thing is the type of coach that blowhard is saying ISU should hire is the exact description of the one that had just left Ames with his tail between his legs.
 
Also...
1. D-Bag couldn't get through the 1-minute post interview discussion without sounding like a tool again.
2. Was CW channeling his inner Andrew Luck with his voice? Must've had a cold.

Did KXNO seriously consider bringing him back? If so, they are simply killing themselves. I refuse to listen to the AM show (Mike and Mike is vastly superior anyway).

Did anyone catch Ken take yet another below the belt shot at ISU fans yesterday during his interview with Mark Moorehouse? That we're "Happy as clams" with Paul Rhoads and the state of our football program despite a 3-9 and 2-X record over the past two seasons? He was doing this to make a point of the unrest in hok-ville despite recent success.

I know many still have faith in CPR. I lean that way, but am much closer to undecided. But to suggest that overall the fan base is anywhere close to happy is simply ludicrous.

Chris and the crew put on a good show Thursday nights. Unfortunately it's followed up by that damn Dear Abby-esque show that follows. WTF?

I swear - KXNO does more to make me turn the channel, than keep it tuned.

This all may be true but he has about 50,000 ways to back up his case for it each Saturday at JTS.
