Wall Street Journal Pollsters and Computers diagree?

Interesting just starting with the fact that 6 of the former Big 8 teams are on that list of only 12 schools. I think it probably comes to down to local bias, more of the pollsters are located on the coasts and don't see much of most of those teams, especially the ones like Iowa State that aren't usually on TV in the past. The one main exception is Texas and I think that is just the unknown of the new coach and players.

The article mentions Marshall, but the list on the left doesn't. Any idea what their human and computer pre-season rankings are? Is it just me or is that shoddy reporting? I would think that FSU and Georgia Southern would be in the list, too, simply because they're in the article. Or maybe WSJ wants me to work for the info a little, I mean, I have Google and all... :jimlad:

I'm shocked -- SHOCKED I tell you -- that Nebraska and Texas are overvalued by human voters.

I, for one, am very surprised and disheartened by the idea of voters letting historical perception cloud their voting regarding current teams. Consider the gloves off, sir. We are in a duel.
