VOIP phone services for small business

I am wondering if anyone on CF has any experience with switching from traditional phone service with an internal PBX in a small business to a cloud based VOIP service like RingCentral, XBlue or Vocalocity?

I have experience in the past with Mediacom's phone service, Vonage and Skype at home with decent experiences... but our business has 3 separate locations with 11 current phone lines so these providers won't really work for us.

I don't know if I can trust the quality of our current Centurylink DSL connections enough to have reliable and high quality voice using the VOIP cloud services.

The goal would be to save money versus our traditional phone service, but I can't risk spotty or unreliable phone service for our business. I am estimating we could save several thousand dollars every year if we would switch.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

We use 8x8. Have been extremely happy with it. We only have 2 people right now but will be adding some more in the future and more lines can easily be added. They have very good pricing. One thing I really like is the app they have for the iPhone. It allows me to read faxes and I can make calls from anywhere and it looks like I am calling from my office.

Sounds like several of you have had good experiences with Virtualpbx.com.

I am thinking about switching to
Virtualpbx.com using Mediacom internet connections for our 3 business locations in Iowa.

Any more of you out there using
Virtualpbx.com for their phone service with Mediacom internet?

I do worry about brief outages due to Mediacom internet service. When we have had Mediacom internet in our home in the past, there could be spotty internet outages at times that Mediacom could never explain or resolve.
