Every Fall the Hy-Vee in Urbandale has a really good sale for certain liquors. Does anyone know what weekend it is happening this year? I need to stock up and do some Christmas shopping when it happens.

Alright, I'm a little embarrassed to say this, but I really don't recall ever having Knob Creek. I guess I've always picked up Makers, Rip/Pappy Van Winkle, Woodford, Forester... but not Knob Creek. Worth giving it a try? Bottle will last me a while as I'm really not a glass a night guy and don't really want it sitting around.

TL/DR: Yea or Nay on Knob Creek?

But it isn't a significant step down. It's like comparing Ketel One and Absolute IMO.

Piece of advice but if you plan on waiting until Sunday I wouldn't waste your time. Even by late morning tomorrow the pickings will get pretty slim.
