I'm open to the potential that ISU can put on a three day run at the Big 12 Tourney for our crowd down there that catapults them to a 6 seed. I've seen it before.

NIT. I think this team goes 6-12 in conference. Its hared to win on the Road. If they make a small run in the Big 12 Tourney maybe they sneak into the first 4

FWIW, Torvik still has ISU as a 100% lock to make the tourney.
LSU is I'm a very similar spot. They are #1 in defensive efficiency and have lost 3 in a row.

Trying to keep emotion out of it. Last week's game makes it feel like First Four, but there's too much good still in the profile (but have to start winning more games).

a lot of people are saying 9 and I agree with that. I'm just hoping TJ works with the guys to really focus on dribble drive to the hoop. We can't just pass around the perimeter, and chuck up a three. We just aren't a shooting team

I would think we have to go at least 7-11, or 8-10 in conference. The way we are SO offensively challenged, where are those 5 or 6 more conference wins going to come from? I'm trying to prepare myself for NIT, and I absolutely hate even saying/thinking that, regardless of preseason expectations. The early success w/quad 1 wins while so appreciated as a fan, seems like such a tease now.

If we focus on it, do we still score? What few can handle the ball and get by their man seem to be forced to dish it out when help comes...which is the right play. But there we are again, with open '3's to clank. Tough gig...coaching.
