UNI to host UNC in the McLeod Center on Nov. 21

Bad time to announce...5 minutes after the Thibs/Bulls news breaks.

But great get for UNI. Hopefully they don't have to give free tickets away to fill the place. :wink:
 
Hardly any one is going to see this thread for obvious reasons.

Good luck at the Bad Timing Awards though.
 
UNI fans would have cried like babies if ISU or Iowa had gone 2 for 1 with them. In terms of competitive advantage the Big 4 Classic is throwing them a bone compared to a 2 for 1. I was at the UNI/Iowa game this year, it was a pro-UNI atmosphere from the rosters being announced till the clock ran out.

UNI has an amazing season last year and couldn't sell games out.
 
Congrats UNI. The 2 for 1 part of it sucks, but I still think it is worth it for them. Should make for one fun game in Cedar Falls. I would love to see UNC in Hilton some day.
 
I hope UNC beats the purple hawks like they ****ing stole something.
 
This is all about Roy's strategy of getting his stars a "home game" before they graduate (Marcus Paige). Good for UNI to get the opportunity but they had to go 2-for-1 to do it. No way this game happens if there isn't an eastern Iowa player on the UNC roster.

Yep. UNI did zero work to get this game.

This is UNC, the quotes should have been around graduate.

Maybe UNI should offer Iowa and Iowa State 2 for 1 deals. You might get some interest in that. Maybe Drake could do a 10 for 1 deal or something.
 
northern iowa refuses to do 2 for 1's with in-state schools, and cant get out of state schools (minnesota and wisconsin in particular) to agree to 2 for 1's
