Make your own football schedule with old ISU wins. Rules:

1. Must be a win
2. Must play every conference opponent
3. Pick any non-con opponent (can be former conference foe)
4. No team twice
5. Can’t pick two games from same season
6. End with a bowl game

Like, take old ISU teams' wins and make an undefeated season out of it?

Does the bowl game have to be one of ISU's 3 bowl wins?
 
Tough having to pick 1 from 05 so many good choices. Here's mine though. Non conf. went Iowa and 2 former conference foes. I also made sure to have a appropriate mix of home and away games with regard to conference games.

2002 Iowa (A) Win 36-31 - Wanted the 23-3 in 05 but went with 02. I was there, the comeback was awesome. It was 5 in a row and Iowa's only regular season loss.

2009 Nebraska (A) Win 9-7 - Going into Lincoln without starting QB and starting RB and we come out with a win. Also those 8 Nebby to's

2005 Texas A&M (A) Win 42-14 in a season of huge wins this stands out the most. We went into the 12th man and we named the score. Blythe with one of the best day of any ISU WR.

2011 OSU (H) Win 37-31 Nuff said

2012 Baylor (H) Win 35-21 Jake Knott playing hurt and Steele Jantz with 5 TD passes all on my birthday.

2010 Texas (A) Win 28-21 Go into Texas after get woodshed-ed by OU and Utah in previous weeks

2016 TTU (H) 66-10 and made mince meat out of a future Super Bowl winning QB

2017 OU (A) Win 38-31 Kyle Kempt in his first start and ISU beats the Sooners.

2018 W Va (H) Win 30-14 #6 West Va get crushed in the debut of the All Black Uni's.

2019 TCU (H) win 49-24 couldn't take 2017 game so I settled for this dominating performance

2013 KU (H) win 34-0 ISU dominates in Ice Bowl

2004 KSU (A) 37-23 Was a tie game in 4th quarter. We get the go ahead TD and Lamarcus Hicks puts a cherry on top of the sundae with a pick six.

Opp not on schedule

1996 Missouri 45-31 Troy Davis 378 yards and 3 TD's


Optional Bowl game

2000 Pittsburgh win 37-29. Our first bowl win and was on hand to witness it. Billups with the clutch punt return.

2005 Colorado- tornado game.

2011 Oklahoma State- I mean holy ****.
2012 Baylor
2013 KU Ice Bowl
2015 Texas.

2016 Texas Tech - Utter domination.
2017 Oklahoma- A win, with a backup QB in norman? One for the ages.
2018 WVU- the spontaneous lights were amazing.
2019 TCU- 2017 was better, but OU owns that year's pick
2000 Insight bowl

I bet a lot of lists that will come out pretty similar. Once you pick the big ones (2011 OSU, 2017 OU, 2018 WVU) you are limited in some of your options for the other teams since some other great games happened in those years.

I'm not following the rules on the same season:

H -- TCU 2017
A -- Texas 2010
H -- OSU 2011
A -- K-state 2004
H -- West Virginia 2018
A -- OU 2017
H -- Baylor 2018 (Monty's haymakers were worth it)
A -- KU 2001 (dominating win got them back on track)
H -- Texas Tech 2016

Non-conference:

H -- UNI 2001 (Seneca's first game; how often do we dominate UNI?)
A -- Iowa 1998 (best day in the history of the rivalry as far as I'm concerned)
H -- Nebraska 1976 (see below)...
