Oh well. My deep hatred for UNC and more beer will have to do.
UCLA @ USC later tonight.
This is a team, mind you, that ESPN was thinking could go undefeated and be one of the best college basketball teams of all time, less than a week ago.
ESPN, when they're not showing live games, sucks. And even when they are showing games, they often let blowhards like Billy Packer, **** Vitale, or Mike Patrick call the games.

Well, you and I know that, but I'm not sure those ACC homers did. Actually, though, Roy is usually a regular season monster. His teams are good enough offensively to coast through the regular season on their offense alone before facing teams in the tournament that can run with them because Roy's defenses are rarely elite. And Roy has to be in the bottom 1% of coaches in how to use his timeouts.
Here's a classic example of a great Roy regular season team - KU Basketball: 1996-97 (this team, FWIW, would blow this year's UNC team out of the water)
And, for anyone that watched the end of that UNC-Wake game, can we officially make it a rule that you can't storm the court when you are ranked in the top 10, regardless of who the other team is? Embarrassing.
That's kind of what I was thinking while watching the end of the game.
I was thinking to myself "please don't storm the court...please don't storm the court..." but they did it anyway. Not only that, but I believe Wake was ranked only one spot lower than NC. Hardly court storm worthy.
