Highly recommend giving this a read. I knew a little about Tyrese's adversity growing up, but this article does a great job of doing a deeper dive. I'll be rooting harder for the kid and glad he's a Cyclone

Wow, I didn’t know all that about him. What a tough and resilient guy, I definitely wouldn’t have had his toughness at such a young age. So glad he’s a Cyclone.

Really hit home that Tyrese is mature above most freshman actually as an 8th grader when his Mom passed. You can see his focus on the court and is perfect PG for this team.
