Two KU receivers arrested

The KU message board thread is arguing about whether the "weapons" that were said to be recovered by police were necessarily guns. After all, lots of things can be weapons, like sticks and rocks and toasters. (Not a joking. That's what they're arguing about)

KU Football: We are screwed
KU Basketball: Nothing to see here. All is well.

They were driving "a red Dodge Charger and the other as an orange Dodge Challenger" So it looks like NIL is alive and well in the KU Football program. I'm guessing the booster(s) that paid for those vehicles is pleased with the investment thus far.

I was at a party and some woman pulled some hamburger buns out of the freezer and started throwing them at people. That hurt when I wasn't expected that.

Where does that put them in the Fulmer Cup standings?

(And yes I know it was discontinued because fun is outlawed in 2022.)

So instead of "gunmen" they are:

stickmen
rockmen
toastermen

Curious how this is assault when no one was attacked or even injured and there was no physical altercation of any kind. I can see lifting your shirt to show a weapon as a threat/intimidation but not assault.

You are thinking of battery. Battery is when an altercation occurs. Assault is just giving the other fear or concern that something will likely happen.
