So the Twins finally have shown they can hit for power...and can't win a game. Is it small ball or no ball at all?

I agree. The bullpen is bad and our starters aren't a lot better. They were dang close from taking 3 outta 4 in New York...
Their issues start and end with the bullpen.
The Yankees series just screwed with their head. Good thing they always go 14-4 in interleague![]()
He'll never be a Yankee. They've got $180,000,000?? invested in a .240 batting average over there. Teixiera is heating up though. :yes:The one thing I took from the Twins-Yankees series: I hope Justin Morneau wasn't getting TOO comfortable at the new Yankee Stadium...![]()

I know the stats...he pissed me off over the weekend!Yeah, well I hope that 4-game set he played in the Bronx didn't give him any ideas. I mean, look at his hitting stat line from last weekend:
AB: 16
H: 9
R: 4
RBI: 4
2B: 1
HR: 3
I mean, the guy batted friggin' .563 over the weekend and hit 3 home runs. They built that left field BEGGING for left-handed power-swingers to swing at it. Let's just say I'm glad the Twins locked up Morneau for awhile...
Boy I wish we had Nieshik right now
They'll be alright. Milwaukee is red hot and I truly think they'll overlook minnesota, and we'll get back on track.
If he wants to continue to hit like he did last weekend in Yankee Stadium, we'll eat Teixiera contract and you guys can have him if you'll give us Morneau :yes:And, I threw up in my mouth over the thought of Morneau in a Yankees jersey.
Look out White Sox, Twins 20 Palehose 1!!!
