I wouldn't have cut our only guy with 10 wins....but that's just me. I think we could have replaced someone else than Livan.

Livan was a good veteran presence for the young pitchers but his ERA was well over 5.00 and he gave up way too many hits and was very consistent at being inconsistent. I won't miss him much when the Twins have Liriano coming back up to the big leagues. Even if he just has a 3.5 ERA, he will be an upgrade over Livan. I'm thankful for everything Livan did for and gave the Twins but it's time to make a serious playoff run and Liriano needs to be the one leading the way!

i was wondering if the Twins were going to have the balls to cut Livan. Liriano appears ready to come up and, ironically, the worst performing pitcher was the veteran. Let's hope this move pays off...

You act like 3.50 is average. A 5.00 ERA will be an upgrade over Livan.
