Tigers down 3-0 in the 6th....against the Sox

Twins jump out with a Grand Salmi in the 1st 5-0.....

The Sox are doing their part, now up 8-0 in the 6th. Assuming both leads hold up, I just hope that the Twins can survive the tough pitching match-ups tomorrow to make Sunday's games meaningful.

Man that Blackburn/Greinke matchup just got huge!

Looking forward to switching between the two down at the gamewatch in Bloomington tomorrow

Also, this is a great opportunity for MANship to show what he's made of

Twins attempting to make this close... good grief. 10-5 now.

Finish this up quickly and get ready for Greinke tomorrow.

Would have been nice if Gardy could have rested Nathan with such a big lead... but nothing comes easy for the Twins. Still think they can do big damage if they can get in. Twins will take the Homer Dome out in style.

Greinke tomorrow. Asking a lot to try to beat that guy. Blackburn is going to have to be at his absolute best. Too bad they had to use everyone out of the pen tonight, after grabbing a 10 run lead. Hope Ozzie and the Sox can find a way to win again tomorrow.

I disagree on not pitching Nathan. He seems to be one of those guys that tends to get very rusty very quickly when he's not getting regular appearances. I remember when they brought him in on Tuesday and they said something like he hadn't gotten any in-game work in about a week and he struggled mightily - gave up a homer and other base runners I believe. They even brought him in on Thursday in a non-save situation to make sure he was getting some work in. If the Twins do make the postseason, they're going to need Nathan at the top of his game, which means getting regular work in.
