Anyone have a good suggestion for a regular over the air TV antenna so we can get ballgames on TV while we're tailgating? We have Mediacom at home so no satellite. Tried 3 different antennas last season but none of them could pick up ABC.

I know my RV antenna has an electric button I turn on which helps boost the power. Maybe you can get something like that.

I think there was another thread a while back discussing channel 5; they're on a different frequency than the other channels, which makes it a pain in the ass to get their signal.

Right now WOI is in a dispute with Directv. Wish they would get that figured out. Have an attic antenna but it has never worked

Your antenna is too small. I have a 103 X 105 inch attic antenna that brings in Channel 5 beautifully. It was made by Winegard and cost me approximately $50. This antenna, https://www.solidsignal.com/pview.asp?p=HD7694P&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cse&utm_term=hd7694p&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI_ISGzu3A4wIVRdbACh2tBQoeEAQYCyABEgI8y_D_BwE
is probably the minimum size that can receive Channel 5. When in Ames, aim the antenna straight south. Anything less of an antenna and you are throwing away your money. I live in Ames so I understand the problem.
